Moodboards dedicated to different types of flat glass, with a focus on coloured glass using ecological and eco-friendly paints.

The "Pebbles" collection designed by Kiki van Eijk & Joost van Bleiswijk for OmniDecor: a series of objects that interpret the artistic philosophy of everyday life in a fairy-tale way.

The sculptures from the "Intro" collection by Lidia Covello for OmniDecor: true exercises in style made using glass as a messenger of light and colour.

Examples of technical-formal research
Kiki & Joost's collection and Lidia Covello's works are one of the most interesting results of creative reflection on the expressive possibilities offered by glass, a plastic material par excellence. Research that combines the technological-productive sphere with the exquisitely aesthetic one, in line with OmniDecor tradition. The collections are on sale exclusively online.

Kiki van Eijk & Joost van Bleiswijk
Kiki van Eijk is a designer, artist and teacher.
She founded Studio Kiki&Joost with her partner Joost van Bleiswijk and dedicated her practice for over two decades to fostering imagination and intuition.
Inspired by a childlike sense of wonder, Kiki's world is lyrical and colourful, yet refined by rigorous attention to skilful craftsmanship.
Her independent sculptural work has been presented in museums and galleries worldwide and her collaborations include brands and institutions such as Coachella, Hermès, Google, Saint-Louis, Cor Unum, Bisazza, Rijksmuseum, Centraal Museum Utrecht, Tilburg Textile Museum, among a multitude of private collectors.
Joost van Bleiswijk is a designer, artist and teacher who gives great value to the process of making.
He grew up in Delft and studied at the Design Academy of Eindhoven, where he met his future partner, Kiki van Eijk and founded the studio in 2001 to become one of the most accomplished names in Dutch design. A genuine fascination for the construction of the object - often revealed in the outcome - is the starting point of his process. The workshop is where Joost engages with the experience of designing as an intensely physical act.
His international collaborations include brands like Moooi, Bernhardt Design, Nodus and OmniDecor among a series of private collectors, companies, and institutions such as The Rijksmuseum, Central Museum Utrecht, Design Academy Eindhoven, Zuiderzee Museum, Noord Brabants Museum and the North Sea Jazz festival.

Lidia Covello
Lidia Covello was responsible for setting up the OmniDecor showroom for Milan Design Week. Her creative contribution helped to further define the perceived image in an even more contemporary key. A different way of conceiving the relationship between the space and the materials on display achieved through the creation of mood boards presenting the different types of glass and the collections of frosted, etched, coloured and decorated glass.

INTERNI DESIGN RE-GENERATION
University of Milan | Via Festa del Perdono 7

OmniDecor is the technical partner of the exhibition-event INTERINI Design Re-Generation that will take place from 6th to 13th June at the University of Milan. The OmniDecor contribution concerns DecorFlou Design and DecorFlou acid etched glass tables installed in the Press Room. The design of the installation and tables is by Mac Stopa. Founder of Massive Design, Mac Stopa's work spans different areas of design: architecture, interiors, product, graphics, art and fashion. His designs stem from his fascination with mathematics and geometry. His passion for modularity, sculptural forms and digital art has led him to create modular objects for mass production that bring innovations to the market and allow consumers to interact and adapt objects to the required functionality or characteristics of an environment.

IN-BETWEEN. Between Art and Design
Brera Design District

OmniDecor is taking part in the art exhibition "IN-BETWEEN. Between Art and Design" which will be held inside the construction site of Casa Baglioni, the new Milanese hotel to be opened in the Brera district by the end of the year. The new hotel is a project by the architectural firm Spagnulo & Partners. The exhibition describes the delicate relationship between art and design - the conceptual matrix of the project for the new hotel - through the display of works by three great international artists: Agostino Bonalumi, Anne Imohof and Giulio Paolini.
The exhibition introduces the idea of interior design that is compared with the work of art. A process that leads to a vision of integrated space in which art, design and architecture touch each other and together generate a universe of unique signs. Themes that have always been part of the OmniDecor culture and identify its unique way of doing business in the service of design creativity.

Why we love glass
It is incredible that glass, together with wood and stone the oldest material in the world, is also the most modern and contemporary. Unlike any other material, glass only needs itself to be used in architecture. As if that were not enough, glass is eternal and eternally recyclable, the perfect example of sustainability and circular economy.
We love glass and have been working with it for four generations. Despite this, it continues to amaze us: its compositional potential seems never-ending.
